Here's the client journey on crowdspring:
1.The client completed an interactive design brief.
- The brief is customized for each project category.
- The client specifies what they want (and don't want).
- Simple and proven process (takes just a few minutes).
2.Our über-talented designers created dozens of unique designs.
In a typical Logo project on crowdspring, many professional designers submit dozens of custom designs based on your brief. See all designs submitted to this project.
- 220,000+ designers from 195 countries.
- The client reviews & gives feedback.

Please check out this link http://inspirationfeed.com/inspiration/5... for some ideas of the logos I like. I don't necessarily love ALL of the logos included in the article, but overall they portray the feeling I'd like my logo to convey to the viewer.
My favorites are:
Cutler Hammer Motor Control
Ready Brew Coffee
The foreign / russian logo with the bicycle on it
At the same time, if you have an idea for a modern looking logo, don't hesitate to submit it. I may really like it and go that direction. I'm posting this project on CrowdSpring because I'm looking for ideas that I would not be able to come up with, therefore, if you've got a great modern idea, run with it!

Bowling Balls Delivered is an on-line retailer of brand new bowling balls. The company was just launched in late 2012 and needs a strong logo as a result to differentiate our brand from our competitors bowlingball.com and cheapbowlingballs.com. In short, we are looking to develop a cleaner, simpler, more modern website than what currently exists. Our brand will also focus more on the culture/community of the sport, not just the one-time transaction of a bowling ball sale. Lastly, I'd like our brand to represent the high-class, upscale, and classic sides of the sport that have been lost in recent years.
By allowing our customers to connect with the high-class, and vintage identity of the sport, (early on, bowling was a sport played by kings/nobility), I'd like to create a brand that is seen as the creme-de la creme of the websites that sell bowling balls. In the same way that Apple has a culture associated with it - people feel cool with Apple products - I would like to do that with this brand, as much as possible.
