Government and Municipal
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Be a hero for your community
Earn badges, complete challenges, get things done.
It is a way to make real change
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image and text. Vector graphics. Flat design (or subtle gradient like iOS9)
Should work in color, black and white, inverted, etc.
Should appear powerful. Should look good on t-shirt (think superhero logo like superman)
Should work with or without "BlockHero" text included (see teamtreehouse.com)
Please no people outlines, hands, other generic community-oriented imagery
I really like teamtreehouse.com since their logo functions also as the shape for badges https://teamtreehouse.com/features/badge... BlockHero uses a lot of badges for accomplishments on the site so if the logo is a symmetrical badge shape that would be great
2-3 colors max. 1 single color is ok too.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
BlockHero is an active community of engaged citizens working to make their neighborhoods and cities better places to live, work, and play. Citizens can create teams around local projects (turn a vacant lot into a park for example) and build the team around that cause. They might organize meetings, raise money, take polls, etc. around the project.
BlockHero is all one word. No space.
Some imagery you might incorporate: city blocks, hero badge, collaboration (no cheesy hand holding in circles etc.), sunrise, etc. I suspect you will get the most mileage from the badge thing. Maybe use "BH" or "B" alone if you do the badge route.
But be creative and let's see what you can come up with!
