Block and Briar is a New Orleans based distributor of custom hand carved artisan tobacco pipes from specialty carvers all over the world. Not only do these pipes provide the highest quality smoking experience, but they are also functional pieces of hand carved art. These are not factory made pipes, each and every pipe is a unique piece. The pipes are made from blocks of Morta, which is petrified wood that ranges in age from 4,000-10,000 years old, only found in Croatia, and specialty blocks of briar only found in the Mediterranean; hence the name of the business Block and Briar. The use of a fleur de lis in the name would be nice, but not necessary.
