This is a business oriented upscale and modern hotel. Our customers are primarily scientists and professors who demand a very high level of design and service. The hotel is located adjacent to the University of Colorado in a community with high end demographics.
Clean design, no clutter.
We recently installed solar panels, making us the most solar powered hotel in Boulder. We would like to somehow convey the green/solar/sustainable aspect in the logo. Not necessarily dominating the logo, but a piece of it.
The city of Boulder is a hub for the natural food industry and start-up software companies. Boulder has a natural beauty, nestled against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The Flatirons are a rock formation that dominate the cityscape. They are frequently utilized in other logos for businesses and entities within the city. We are neutral to using the Flatirons or any graphic representation of them as part of the logo.
We would like the logo to be easily re-created for signage.
We like green and brown and colors that are naturally found in a mountain landscapes. We do not like burgundy or pink.
