What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
I don't need a name in the logo, just a graphic.
What is your industry?
Software and InfoTech
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
This logo is for people who are curious, intelligent, creative and who want to help others.
The viewer should feel that the logo conveys complexity, simplicity and beauty, all in one. Ultimately they should feel a sense of intrigue and wonder and a desire to know more or take action.
Its root is in being able to analyse and zoom in on both questions and answers in an intuitive and simple way with a lot of power under the hood.
Its audience is likely born from 1970-1995 (late Gen X + Millennial), with an equal split between gender, race, language and culture.
It's socio-economic class is more likely to be somewhere between middle and upper-middle as defined by https://www.boundless.com/sociology/text...
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Images only, which convey the philosophy and ideals of the brand, and which also suggest a single letter. Clever image examples would be:
I am particularly inspired by surrealism. Searching Google for "simple surrealism" provides a host of images which convey the feeling I'm shooting for.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
I have a basic template for the logo which I've attached, although it's made from things I've lifted, so will have to be rebuilt from scratch. I'm not held to the colours or placement (which is too south), but the main point is that it should end up looking like both a Q and a magnifying glass, with the brain stem providing the tail.
This is the icon part of the logo. The full name of the company is being designed separately, although it will probably take inspiration from this logo.
If it helps, we will be using PT Sans (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/PT+San...) as the general company font.
The base color we are working from is #088e61, so the colors the logo uses should be complimentary.
