LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
BearHug is a new product from Live Oak 360, the makers of BudURL.com and Ez.com. BearHug is a new customer service suite aimed at providing small business customers an exceptional experience when dealing with support issues. In short, most customer service experiences are like fingernails on a chalkboard. We want it to feel like getting a big, lovable, bear-hug. Our solutions are aimed at increasing Reach, Authenticity, Transparency, and Engagement.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that will convey the love felt when using our software. The logo will primarily be used on our web collateral, but there may be some print usage down the road in the usual places. It should be easily recognizable when both large and small. Having a visual mark is nice for a favicon, etc., but not required.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
People who love their customers. Small businesses (the Fortune 5,000,000). Global audience, but mostly in the USA to start.

zendesk.com - heart integrated into the zen-like symbol. buddha dude is a great icon.
homeaway.com - says what it is, nice mark, clean & clear.
redbeacon.com - name integrates with the logo. clean, catchy, and has a little pop.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Vibrant colors that pop and resonate with the eye. Warm colors are nice to give you that bear-hug like feeling, but not critical.
