We are pool people! The "Bay Area Public Pool Operators Association" (BAPPOA) began in 1982 with a handful of aquatic professionals who met to discuss, share, inform and benefit from each other's programs and experiences in running public swimming pools. This includes but is not limited to city or district run municipalities, privately operated community centers or country clubs (JCC/YMCA/Health Clubs), private/public swim schools, School/College swim centers, etc. Through this medium the organization has grown to over 175 members on the mailing list. We average over 40 people at our meetings. BAPPOA is recognized throughout California and the country as a vital leader and advocate in Aquatics. Our organization attracts professionals who manage public pools, hire and train lifeguards and promote drowning prevention to our communities. Our Website is www.bappoa.org . Recently we have filed for non-profit status.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We are looking for a logo that is simple in nature (not to busy) but one that has enough to catch the eye. We would also like the logo to include the words "BAPPOA" The logo may have the following elements: water elements, water safety elements, Lifeguard elements, any swimming activity that takes place in a swimming pool, Bay Area symbols/icons.
Our current logo is out dated and dull. We are looking for a new logo that represents BAPPOA. We're looking for a logo that represents to the public our strong connection to the Aquatics industry, with regards to leadership, water safety, lifeguarding, and drowning prevention
