Our product, BarriAir (pronounced "barrier"), is a filter that sits comfortably and
almost invisibly inside your nose and provides the wearer protection from particles,
microbes and viruses, depending on which one of three tiers of protection is chosen.
The first tier is a filter that protects the wearers from more than 99% of the particles
that cause allergic reactions to most airborne allergens such as ragweed, pet dander and
pollen. It is perfect for any allergy sufferer.
The second tier includes an activated carbon element designed by engineers under NASAs
SATOP Program. This product tier provides additional protection from fumes and gases
including secondhand smoke, exhaust fumes, gas fumes and chemical vapors. Its the
perfect product for protection from crowded and polluted environments such as cities or
for protection for employees that work around second hand smoke such as casino dealers,
bartenders or those who work around chemicals like house-keepers.
The third tier provides the highest level of protection. It has the benefits of tiers 1 &
2 and adds impregnated copper cellulose. This copper cellulose provides additional
protection to the wearer against airborne bacteria and viruses such as H1N1 swine flu,
SARS and Legionnaires virus. The copper cellulose kills bacteria and viruses on contact.
Its the perfect product for personal protection in crowded enclosed environments such as
planes, trains, hospitals, etc.

presence. The logo should positively convey the benefits of the product and how it
protects the user from the negative elements that surround us everyday. The product
should ultimately become a daily use product, like putting on your watch. Its as though
in todays polluted environment where allergens surround us and a pandemic is a sneeze
away, BarriAir keeps them healthy and safe.

We leave it to the imagination of the creative to suggest the best way to show the name.
It should, however, in the end have the purchaser think of the word Barrier. We are
also hoping to minimize the potential association with the similar sounding word
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our target audience is individuals who suffer from allergies and prefer not to medicate
themselves, those who are in hazardous conditions such as polluted cities or smoke filled
environments and those who are concerned about bacterial, microbes and viruses especially
when travelling from one point to another, whether on foot, by plane, by rail or by sea.
Our customers range from Las Vegas Casinos to business travelers, Nascar fans to
individuals that play poker in smoky environments.
The product is also available in childrens sizes, perfect for concerned parents who seek
additional protection for their children especially in high-risk situations such as days
with high pollen counts or poor air quality index or for use when traveling.
