LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are an Austin-based residential real estate firm. We are married real estate Brokers, and we own the company. We are changing our company name (thus the need for a new logo!). We have changed the name of our company because our current name reflects more of a "mom and pop" type real estate office, and our business has expanded to include not just clients in the "suburbs" of Austin but also clients looking for homes in the downtown area...so we need a name and logo that also reflects an "urban" feel. Our office is now located in downtown Austin.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that is simple enough to be reproduced on Real Estate signs, print publications, etc. It needs to look good in both a small reproduction and a large one...and also in color and in black and white.
If you don't know much about Austin, TX...it is not your "typical" Texas city. We have a DIVERSE population, highly educated and surprisingly sophisticated yet unpretentious. Most Austinites are interested in spending time outdoors but are also drawn to the city life. The "Austin Lifestyle" is laid-back but also this town has a lot of energy with a great live music scene, lots of opportunities for outdoor recreation including Lake Austin and Zilker Park, and the University of Texas Campus all located in the downtown area.
Our real estate clients (both buyers and sellers) will live in the suburbs as well as in more urban areas...so we want a logo that appeals to both. We definitely want our logo to show that we are an AUSTIN BASED RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE COMPANY. :-) OUR NAME IS "AUSTIN LIFESTYLE REALTY" so we want our name included in the graphics of the logo. Our clients range from young adults purchasing their first home to empty nesters. Most of our clients are under the age of 60.
We are not afraid of color! Our logo needs to be simple enough to read and be noticed on real estate signs as potential buyers or sellers are driving by a house with our sign in the yard.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Buyers and Sellers from age 20 to 59. Most of our clients are under the age of 40; however.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Anything that has an image of the State of Texas because it's overused! :-)
