LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Attendoo.com is a new website based on building a community network around an event. The aim is to aggregate content from the major social networking sites, pulling content relevant to the conference \ event and making it accessible to a wider audience. As a result, attendoo will be the social networking hub for the conference enhancing people's experience at the conference by providing the additional social media aspect.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need an eye catching logo applicable to the aim of the project, colour scheme and font. The logo will mainly be used on the website, however also on business cards, t-shirts and on website's linking to their section of attendoo. I would like the logo to be quite informal, not to flashy but that will stand out, be eye catching and be memorable.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Attendees at the conferences and anyone with an interest in the content of the conference/event. Mostly technical, software development conferences, however will also include other non-technical conferences. Average age range of 20-35, young professionals/start up types with an awareness of social media.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Designs that feel very natural and in place on sites such as Mashable and Techcrunch. Needs to be eye catching, rememberable while not being too overpowering. I really like logos where they have the name + 'something else'. The aim is that both can be used independently in order to support the brand, similar to Squidoo and Seesmic. If we could take advantage of the 'oo' and make that a logo within the logo that could be great but I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
