Business Info

Business Name

Duneland Community Church

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Duneland Community Church

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Describe the target audience for your logo

We are an outside the box church who that is trying to connect with those in our church community who have left the church, have never been part of a church, or have felt left behind by the church. We want to be modern with a touch of sacred and ancient.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

We want our logo to communicate that we are not your typical kind of church.

We want our logo to communicate a connection to our local community.

We want our logo to retain an element of the sacred

Style and Concept

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

We like text and image logos. We want to stylize the name of the church while having an image attached to it as well that could stand alone if need be.

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

We have a lot of earth tones in our current colors around the church. Warm colors.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

Flourescents, floral colors, pastels

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Print, website, business cards

Do you have other info or links you want to share?

We have a current logo that you can see on our website at www.dunelandchurch.org that incorporates a sand dune background (because of our name) along with a stylized cross and our name. We like elements of this logo, but want to update it or go a new direction.

We like the sand dune background, but this could be done more stylishly or hinted at more than drawn out.

We want a cross and I had the idea of maybe using a cross that also incorporated our strategy design. I have uploaded a picture of our strategy design which is a large circle with 4 smaller circles around it in connection.

We need something that can also be printed in black and white.

We are both ancient and modern in our practice and faith. So we are scared away from something having a sacred yet contemporary feel.

I uploaded a really basic sketch from my whiteboard showing a possible integration of a cross with our strategy diagram. It is simply an idea we had brainstormed.
