What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
A Bit Simple
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1. Simplicity, clarity, understanding
2. Approachable, friendly, open, social
3. Confident but not arrogant, willing to make a decision
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I UPLOADED MY BRIEF IN WORD FORMAT WITH PARAGRAPH SPACING.
Logos that work on a dark or light background and in different colours. The shape and type is the identity, rather than the colour.
I like image and text logos, perhaps with the text modified to include a graphic element, or closely tied to a graphic element.
I would also be open to including a character, animal or face in the logo, although I know this is difficult. If you go this route, the device should be smart and friendly rather than cute or too funny. I thought about deleting this paragraph because it has potential to go wrong, but if you feel you can do it then go for it!
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
A Bit Simple helps clients with digital content strategy, editing, writing and analysis. Eventually I would like it to deliver entire projects, but currently I partner with developers and designers and digital agencies.
It's important that the logo is not too sterile and modern, I want it to have heart and soul as well. Difficult brief I know!
Although I selected 'Internet' for the industry, the logo shouldn't be computer or technical based. My services are more about digital content, strategy and communication.
My website is www.abitsimple.com, but this is a basis and shouldn't be used as too much of a clue to the logo I want. The blog might be useful for info on the work I do.
I have worked with HUGE Inc and Razorfish, and similar companies include Brain Traffic, Content Formula, Together London and Content Science.
I have assembled a pin board of logos I like at: http://pinterest.com/ayeare/logo-ideas/
I made an attempt at my own logo, which I attached to the pinboard too. I went for the thought bubble to represent understanding and problem solving. But don't feel you need to use a thought bubble yourself.
