Updates
I am looking for an updating of my current logo for 4path (see www.4path.com).
4path is a medical laboratory which is focused on out-patient business in pathology (i.e. biopsies, etc). We are dedicated to the satisfaction of our clients and their patients.
I like the current logo, but feel that it can be a lot better with some updating. However, you can also submit full re-designs if you feel so inclined.
I want to project a high level of professionalism and expertise, but not be stuffy. A little "edgy" is ok, but don't get too wild.
I currently like the basic blue, but modification is acceptable. The laboratory is going to undergo a "green" initiative, so we may do some re-coloration in green for those applications (probably a future project posting), but the blue logo will stay as the basic logo. If you want to add some color splashes or other embellishments, that might be a nice addition.
I would like the color logo to have a transparent background for ease of use in word documents, dreamweaver, etc. In some cases, reports are remotely printed on faxes, so I would want to ensure that the logo would also look good in B&W.
The logo will be used on the web site, stationary, our pathology reports, requisitions and just about anywhere else we would want to brand the laboratory. It is important to the lab's identity.
