What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We are a religious organization.
I would like the logo to communicate a sense of life/growth, connection, and faith.
We organize gatherings called "Scripture Circles," so I hope for the logo to include a circle or circles in some way, in order to help connect our programming and our name visually. (Because trees look like circles from the top, this also feels like a possible connecting point to the Orchards name.)
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image + Text: Please no more than 3 colors. Simple is preferred. Or, if it's more colorful, also including a grayscale or black and white option.
I am looking for something more symbolic and simple than concrete and detailed.
I like the logo at Open Door- the way it flows into the name and is simple. http://www.opendooreastbay.com/
I like the logo at Awaken Community- it is beautiful and artistic, and is symbolic of growth, without being fussy or overly concrete. http://www.awakencommunity.com/
I like the simple way the first letters of the organization name are worked into the logo for Treehouse: http://www.treehouseyouth.org/.
I like the simplicity of the text and circles at Soul City Church: http://www.soulcitychurch.com/.
I like the way a symbol of growth is incorporated into the text of the organization with Transforming Center: http://www.transformingcenter.org/
I like the way Dogwood Coffee references a cup and a plant at the same time, while standing on it's own as a symbol. http://www.dogwoodcoffee.com/

We do not currently have a website. We do have a vision-mission-values document that also describes our name more fully, that is uploaded below. (I have the url, but am still setting everything up.)
