Creative Brief
Who are you?
This project is for a brewing company/restaurant started by 3 US Navy Chiefs, hence the really obvious name of 3 Chiefs Brewing.
What do you need?
Looking for a main logo for the company and 4 initial beers. The main logo for the company and the 4 beers should tie in to each other. We were thinking that the main logo be represented in some way in each beer label, and the difference will define the different brews. The main theme should be basic enough to be easily incorporated into many different ideas. In our example, the idea was to keep the ring that the girl is sitting in, with something different in the center as the main logo, and then have different girls but use the same ring to represent the different brews.
The logo will be on everything from bottling labels, to t-shirts and various marketing materials, business cards, etc.
The theme or feel should be worldly (as in well traveled), nautical, and we were leaning towards WWII/40's era style pinups for the different brews. We want to avoid anything too military i.e. we think the name is about as military as it needs to be. But we are open to any great ideas. One other thing to avoid is representing any other type of chief in the logo, i.e. no Native American, or police chief, etc.
The 4 initial brew names are Blonde (Blonde Ale), Brown (Nut Brown Ale), Red (Amber Ale), and Double (as in a Double Indian Pale Ale). The name should be included on each label.
Who Is Your Audience?
People who love great beer.

We Like These Examples
See the included scan. We do not have the rights to the pinup we just used it to demonstrate our idea. This is one idea we had, but we are open to anything. Our initial thought was the colors relate to clothing or hair color, etc. with the Double IPA having 2 women of Indian decent. Again, though, we can't stress enough that we are open to any creative ideas. We would like it to have a traditional classic type of look, but be simple and quickly recognizable.
We Absolutely Must Have
3 Chief's Brewing must be on the label.
