Creative brief

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Shafer Leadership Academy

What is your industry?

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. Leadership
2. Community
3. Legacy

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Logo Style:
We want a logo with an image/graphic combined with text. We would also prefer (2) versions of the logo, one in a horizontal format and another matching one in a vertical format.

The following tagline needs to be in the logo (without the quotes)
"Leadership Development for East Central Indiana"

Preferably however, the logo should work and look good with or without the tagline. Include versions of both if you wish.

Logo Color:
We would prefer 2 or 3 colors in the logo. We would prefer that these colors work well together harmoniously in a palette and do not extremely clash with each other. In other words, don’t limit yourself to just using shades of one color. Just be sure to pick colors that work well in tandem with one another and do not create a lot of dissonance.

As we are rebranding our organization, our former dominant color was orange, Pantone 159C. We would prefer that this same orange be used in this logo as we have a lot of brand equity built with it. it does not have to be the only color but it should be fairly prominent still.

Logo Font:
Creative discretion can be used in the selection of a serif or sans serif font.

Logo graphic:
Our preference here is that the graphic used isn’t too literal (like one person standing in front of crowd). Rather, the graphic should have a subtle, clear reflection of “leadership”.
