Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

Business Name

Otto & Edna Neely Foundation

What do you do?

The Otto and Edna Neely Foundation provides college scholarships and community grants in the East Valley of Phoenix. Otto and Edna were large farmers (land owners) in the East Valley over the last 50-75 years. They sold a majority of their land to developers and created a Foundation and endowment to continue their philanthropic legacy long after they passed.

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Otto & Edna Neely Foundation

You'll receive designs for biz cards, letterhead and envelopes.

Two sided business cards
letterhead format needs to include address, website, phone number and listing of board of directors names and titles.
Envelopes - name, address

What is your industry?

Education and Universities

Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery

Entire East Valley community (schools, students, universities, community organizations, businesses and residents)

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?

Professionalism - we are a very quite and conservative foundation. Our logo needs to represent that.
Agriculture - I would like for this to be very subtle. While the Neely's were farmers, we provide grants to all organizations/students regardless of their background.
Classic - I want this to be a timeless logo, the Foundation has been around for 25 years and will be around for another 100.

What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Text only is what I imagine but I would be open to text and image if done right. We have been using just a type face for the last 25 years and need an updated consistent look.

Otto and Edna need to be included in the logo, however, Neely Foundation can be larger and/or more prominent.

What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?

Blacks, greens, deep blues and/or browns

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?

Pinks, fluorescent or anything else loud or obnoxious.

What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?

Classy, timeless and professional

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

All the above

Do you have additional info or links you want to share?

Remember classy and conservative!

Brief updates

I would ask that any single submission that receives a "5" to please submit 1-3 versions of accompanying stationary. I don't want to waste creatives' time if their logo has not yet met the "5" standard.
