Our organization represents 911 Dispatchers for the state of California. Our members save lives every day and are the first of the first responders. Think Halle Berry in the movie 'The Call'. We are helping people in crisis, sending police, fire, and medical help, talking to suicial people trying to get them help, giving life-saving medical instructions like CPR, childbirth, etc. You never know what kind of call you will get when you answer the phone. One of the symbols used by our profession is the Thin Gold Line (similar to police using the Thin Blue Line and firefighters using the Thin Red Line).

Vision
Our current logo is very plain. We'd like to see a fresh, modern, and youthful take on on our logo. If you wish to incorporate the state of California, the California Bear, or a play on the California flag, those are all options. Many of our logos reference a telephone headset because we all wear them. A heart would also be fine to incorporate because we put a lot of heart and soul into our work, trying to help people each and every day, 24/7/365. Finally, we represent 911 dispatchers, so incorporating 911 into the logo is always a fine option.
