LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

uxStudio is a user experience consultancy. We provide user research services to Canadian fortune 1000 companies. We operate at the junction of marketing and business consulting but need to be as slick as an ad agency.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo and wordmark for a new division called uxStudio. The logo needs to include versions with our tag lines in English and French (as well as a standalone version). If appropriate, a version for light vs dark backgrounds would be nice.

English tag line: "The rethink tank"

French tag line: "La bote repenser"

Stationery needs:

#10 envelope (no tag lines), letterhead (no tag lines). Business card: 1 French template, 1 English template.

Note: The critical component is the logo, not the stationery... make sure we like the logo before putting significant effort into the stationery...

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Creative teams and VP level executives (marketing, R&D) in Canada's top 1000 companies. This is a tough crowd...

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like the color blue and the patterns in carbon fiber. One possible theme is "thinking outside the box" if you can imagine that visually... however, the winning entry may not contain any of this...

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

No cheezy clipart... the logo design should be horizontal rather than vertical to make it more suitable for use in banners, etc.
