LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
My name is Sheila Amo. I am a mother, wife, business woman, sister, and friend. At the root of it all, I am a woman. A sensual woman with style and I make and sell a product for women to wear and for men to adore. The product is waistbeads. They adorn a woman's body without defiling it. These beads are beautifully strung in an array of shapes, sizes, and colors. They are worn on a woman's waist and can be displayed peeking out of the top of her jeans or kept as a secret between her and her significant other.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I am looking for a logo design. This logo will eventually appear on a website as well as on business cards and packaging material. I'm looking for something sensual, creative and a design that could potentially incorporate the curves of a womans body (in particular the hour glass).
Separately I need and abbreviated symbol for The Beaded Body to stamp on a bead the will finish each strand of waistbeads. I'm thinking (TB2) but the 2 would be the squared symbol.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Like the product I make, my audience includes women of all shapes, sizes, and colors. While I have some canned designs, for the most part each strand of waistbeads is a unique hand made piece of art.
When worn as traditionally intended waist beads are truly a womans private joy. They are a secret known only to her and her special someone and when worn they create a sense of beauty, grace, sensuality, and excitement. Ghanaian women often say that as women walk her stride causes the beads to talk.
In a contemporary twist, women have varied the placement of waist beads from low on their hips up to their true waist and belly button. The body jewels are now regularly worn to be seen and they are as eye-catching as they are beautiful.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
As mentioned above, I would like the design to incorporate the hour-glass shape of a woman's body with a strand of waistbeads that leads into the company name (the beaded body). The company name can be in lower letters. I like the color scheme of pink, chocolate, tan/gold, and cream.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Again I would really like and outlined shape of a woman's body. I like the color scheme mentioned...pink, chocolate, tan/gold, and cream. I like fonts that look like script or handwriting. I don't like block letters and I don't want anything bulky. I want a clean and feminine looking website that will appeal to sensual, stylish, chic, unique women who want to express themselves through body adornment.
