LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The project is primarily the event poster for the TASTY AWARDS. The Tasty Awards celebrate the best food and fashion programs on television, in film, and online. The Awards Show event is on January 14, 2010 in San Francisco.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We want a design for an 11x17 color poster. We'd like the color scheme to reflect the website www.TastyAwards.com, as well as the use of photography (feel free to use temp photos as placeholders in your design). In general we do all of our posters in-house, but since we know the founders of crowdSPRING we thought we'd see what you can do with this.
This new Awards Show been called by some as "The Oscar for Foodies" and "the Grammy's for fashionistas". That means there is some glamour associated with the red carpet event, which should be reflected in the poster. It should be eye catching, inspiring, informative (leaves room for sponsors logos at the bottom - white space), upscale, and c-o-o-l.
We would also like a stationery letterhead design to reflect the awards. A logo (symbol) would be interesting. Note, we have a text version of the logo on the site, but a symbol version would be useful.
Optional: Tie the poster design to a postcard invitation design (4.25x6, and 6x8.5). Remember the elements above, and the themes.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Foodies, fashionistas, celebs, studios, stations, sponsors, ticket buyers and viewers
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
event name (THE TASTY AWARDS)
event URL (WWW.TASTYAWARDS.COM)
space at the bottom for sponsor logos (on poster)
