What do you do?
"Share what makes you tick" -- We help people on social networks (think Facebook and LinkedIn) use psychological testing results (think Myers-Briggs) to learn more about their personality type, and how best to communicate with each other.
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
SyType (make sure to preserve the InnerCaps - capital "S" & capital "T", please)
What pieces of stationery do you need designed (biz cards, letterhead, etc.)?
business cards & letterhead (but mainly for computer and web). The logo has to work. The cards and stationary are "nice to haves".
What is your industry?
Social network services / software
Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery
Early adopters on social networks. Young professionals in tech centers, initially aimed at US. People interested in sharing on social networks, and social gaming especially.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?
We are a future-forward organization,
not at all old-fashioned,
promoting self-knowledge, sharing, and communication
Style and Concept
What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and Image -- would like to be able to use just the image (not incorporating the name) as a logo or icon by itself.
At some point, this will be used as an icon for an application in social networking sites, like Facebook and LinkedIn, and for mobile phone apps. Something simple and recognizable, even when it's small, is preferred.
What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?
No basic blue.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?
No blue, unless it's turquoise or teal.
What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?
modern, clean, clever
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
both -- website and print
Do you have additional info or links you want to share?
A couple of ideas we've kicked around --
2 people, in the form of paper dolls, joined at the hand, with an irregular rectangular frame around one, as if looking in a mirror.
A silhouette of a head with gears shown inside it in a cutaway.
Thank you for working on this -- I appreciate you making my new company look cool.
