LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

The name sprlis is Medieval Latin for spiral, and the name refers to our companys innovation process, which is visualized as a spiral reflecting the iterative and highly multidisciplinary process of going from idea to product that our company advocates. Innovation is not linear, it is not sequential, and it is not unidisciplinary. Our company stimulates breakthrough innovation by bringing together experts from a wide variety of knowledge domains into workshop style sessions, and facilitating their collaboration with visual methods that help participants move back and forth between divergent and convergent design activities in search for a solution that exceed customer expectations.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logotype which symbolizes creativity, ideas, and innovation at the same time as it should directly reflect the company name (sprlis). For obvious reasons, we have a preference for symbols that associates to a spiral of some sort, but we also welcome more abstract interpretations of a spiral, iterative, multidisciplinary innovation process. The logo can also contain a catchy slogan, so we welcome your ideas here, too.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Business incubators, business clusters, manufacturing industry. We are targeting new companies that often lack a structured innovation processes or which have difficulties adapting large-scale innovation processes to their own context (i.e. business incubators/clusters). Also, we are targeting manufacturing companies which need to break free from the traditional cheaper, faster paradigm, and which are in search of new methods that are better suited for breakthrough innovation.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Please see the attached file.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We have provided a basic color scheme in the attached file, and while we want to keep to these four main colors (+ white), we are open to minor variations in the color scheme (e.g. lighter or darker reds and blues, etc.) In general, we have a preference for using the red color for a symbol, with the company name in a black (or clearly visible with darker colors), bold typeface. As noted, examples of logos with slogans are welcome.
