Business Info

Business Name

160 Routes

What do you do?

We're a high quality text message (SMS) connectivity firm, providing large enterprises and mobile operators with access to reliable text message routes to hundreds of mobile networks worldwide. We specialize in connectivity to hard-to-reach networks, with full delivery tracking and reporting.

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

160 Routes

You'll receive designs for biz cards, letterhead and envelopes.

Need business cards, letterheads, envelopes and base logo. For printed versions, we like the concept of the base form of the logo appearing as a watermark on the stationary. Especially if the logo is clean and simple, a repeated logo on the reverse, or maybe a large version of the logo as a watermark would be nice. Be creative though - don't lock yourself into our ideas...

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Mobile telecommunications

Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery

IT executives at enterprise-grade corporations, mobile operators and system integrators. We're not a consumer focused company - we are B2B only.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?

1. We're slick, clean and smart
2. We are in the messaging business. Getting a message through quickly and reliably is what we do.
3. We're large-scale but nimble - corporate-grade and relaible but without all the stiffness and bureaucracy!

Style and Concept

What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

We are looking for a text and image logo - ideally we'd like an eye-catching and inspiring logo image that speaks of who we are, with clean lines and clever execution. But, we need our name to be remembered, so an image-only approach will likely not work and we'll need the name also in logotype. The image part of the logo should be memorable so people will recall who we are from just seeing the logo, such as in icons and other places where only the image is used. We really like clever logos simple, uncomplicated logos but that reflect who the company is. Less is more.

What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?

We like blue, and shades of blue. We also like creative, smart one-tone or two-tone logos rather than a mass of color. We're flexible though - happy to consider something else if you have a bright idea.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?

Open to all. Just keep the logo simple and without too many colors.

What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?

Modern, smart, cool, memorable, minimalistic but with a punch

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Print, website, software icons

Do you have additional info or links you want to share?

As mentioned above, we need the key component of the logo to fit within a square icon. No problems if this excludes the logotype, as long as the key component is memorable and therefore recognizable as being us. Abstract concepts are good - especially simple but clever components. Think text messaging, mobile messaging. Our name is "160 Routes" as there are 160 characters in a SMS message, and we provide routes for SMS around the world.
