LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a web and mobile application development firm mostly doing projects of our own creation, not so much as a service, but we will take contract services on a case by case basis so we need to have a good identity.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Elegant, simple design, sophisticated. The name sine has a couple of meanings to consider and that contributed to the selection of the name for our company. First, it's latin for "without" and it is also a trigonometric function that calculates or creates arcs which will be used in our application programming. What we are not looking for is a blatant overly obvious reference to either one to be evident from the logo design, but understated, mature references in the design would be good. I prefer logos that appear to represent a major corporation, not a small retail mom/pop shop or novelty business.
We do not need stationery, simply a logo and biz card.
We are considering a tagline as well..."A square-free zone" or something similar. Something anti-square to imply organic, fluid, flexible, elegant.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Technology professionals, largely veterans and investors in the online industry.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
lowercase on the word "sine" uppercase "L" and lowercase "abs" with no spaces.
