LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
SHARETEL is truly distinctive in the Australian Telecommunications industry in that it is the only telco to offer customers a refund on their bill spend. Our Unique Value Proposition (UVP) is that, for every 12 months a customer stays with us, we will give them a 10% refund. This means that we will give our customers the twelfth month of their telco services FREE. Our customers pay nothing!! Nadda. Nix.
Sharetel provides quality telecommunication products and services to its customers Australia-wide. We stand out from the crowded market by offering our customers a 10% refund on their bill spend (they get a credit on their bill so they can spend their hard earned on more interesting things). We are able to this by accessing premium national networks and passing savings directly to the customer. Our company values honesty and integrity and is well regarded for straight talk with our customers.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Small and medium businesses (we only sell B2B) that seek a communications partner to help them find the right solutions at a reasonable price. They are frustrated with poor service from the big phone companies (waiting on hold, auto systems) but because telecommunications is critical to their business they can't risk going to an unprofessional looking company. We want them to think that we're a modern, dynamic company, that looks and sounds professional and worth talking to.
Our core customers are smart, savvy and value conscience. They spend between $500-$1,500 per month on telco services, and are reliant in their phone services to do business. They generally have a mix of fixed line and mobile services, but feel confused by telco lingo. They have a sense that they are paying too much, but are not sure that moving their services will save them, or cause more problems that its worth.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
We are looking for an iconic logo that speaks to our UVP, as well as represents us well in the general marketplace. Ideally, we would like an icon that is crisp and clean, with a web 2.0 influence.
Not so much for design, but this company represents the concept in home loans - we are similar but in the telecommunications industry: http://www.refundhomeloans.com.au/ and http://www.refundgroup.com.au/
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
We want brand system that is strongly represented by an icon that even used on it's own (without our company name) can represent the the thing that makes us different: the act of providing a refund. This is a very key part of this brief.
