Sedex (www.sedexmining.com) is part of the Hughes Exploration Group (www.hughes-exploration.com), a group of nine publicly traded mineral exploration companies. Until recently all the companies have shared one logo with slight revisions. We are now redesigning each company website (see the www.hughes-exploration.com for a list of all the companies to see which ones have been updated and which haven't). Our web-designer is waiting for the logo before he moves ahead with the new design.
As the word Sedex (Sedimentary Exhalitive) doesn't mean much to anyone we won't be able to play of that theme. Most of the companies properties are base metal oriented, in central/northern Ontario with a few scattered around South Eastern British Columbia (all in Canada). My only suggestion would be to check out other mining companies for ideas.
Our target audience is retail investors that are not necessarily overly educated in geology so we're looking for something not too intimidating, if that makes sense.
I would like to see both logo and text (Sedex Mining Corp.) but have also have the logo able to survive on its own.
Business cards will be double-sided with a list of the Hughes Exploration Group companies and symbols on the back as well as the Hughes' website.
