LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The company is Scrumptious Street, LLC, a small business in New York City that offers personal, customized and hands-on cooking experiences and culinary education. Our classes are in-depth and cover much more than learning recipes. We truly teach people the fundamentals of cooking, the techniques and instill a deeper understanding of food, ingredients, flavor profiles and more. We approach each class teaching people how to manage the timing and preparation for an entire four-course dinner and how to be most productive while making exciting, scrumptious and unique food.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo with the name "Scrumptious Street" to be used on all collateral, stationery, website banners, blog banners, badges and social media. The Logo should be easily read/used in larger styles (banners) and smaller thumbnails (Facebook/Twitter). We also need business cards using the logo and a stationery template (.dot) for things like recipes and letters of agreement, contracts, statements of understanding.
We like our current website and blog color scheme, but are open to change if the new logo is an entirely different palette. Please keep it sophisticated, luxurious and colors that make you think of rich and delicious food.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience is sophisticated, cultured, curious, involved and discerning in taste and quality in everything they do. They are women or men, aged 16 to 60's. Sometimes they are young and wealthy, sometimes they are wealthy and retired. Sometimes they aren't wealthy but food and cooking is so important to them they want to invest in their own culinary prowess. They are pragmatic and enjoy fine dining and wine but want to learn to make spectacular meals themselves. Often they subscribe to food magazines or read food websites but don't cook like that at home. They want to. Some of them are already experienced cooks but want to learn specific dishes or ethnic cuisines that are more advanced or gourmet.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
No specific logo examples as benchmarks, just aim for sophisticated rather than whimsical.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
A logo with the company name and an image to go with it must be included. A unique and beautiful font that is easy to read but isn't impossible to acquire or use. An image that fits the brand and conveys its level of sophistication. Full-sized logo for banners and stationery as well as thumbnail size for web and social media. Please omit the LLC from the company name.
We need .dot templates for stationery and envelopes. We need business card templates and corresponding files.
Please do not abbreviate to "SS" anywhere.
We also will be working on a new tagline so the logo must be easily integrated or displayed with additional text later on.
