Creative Brief

Who are you?

Scootaround Inc. is North America's only national electric scooter and wheelchair rental service, providing for the needs of the mature and disabled traveler.

What do you need?

A logo redesign to better incorporate a sense of "mobility" as it pertains to the disabled and mobility assistance market. The industry typically uses the ubiquitous wheelchair icon, often referred to as the ADA symbol. ADA: American's with Disabilities Act of 1990. Several attempts have been made to incorporate a stylized wheelchair into the logo, but we are counting on the creatives at CrowdSPRING to develop something that will be obvious as a "mobility" solution, as well as appealing and memorable.

Who Is Your Audience?

Scootaround customers range in age from early adulthood to seniors in their 80s and 90s. There are slightly older (39% between ages of 35-49 and 38% over age 50)with a slightly female predominance (60/40). Our customers are repeat travelers (47% have booked with us more than once) and come back to us time and again.

We Absolutely Must Have

We will leave it up to the creatives as to whether any consideration should be given to the current logo and its recognizability. If the components of the "Swoosh" and Kabel font family are to be replaced entirely, the resulting logo still needs to provide the concepts of mobility, movement and global.
