LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Robins Nest is an online store selling quality baby and children products. All our products are always designed with the baby in mind and supported by strong scientific research and development.
To start off, we will be selling feeding bottles, pacifiers/soothers, baby feeding set, teethers, toothbrush and breastfeeding equipment. As the business grow, we hope to expand to other product categories (e.g. strollers, cribs, clothing).
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo and stationery set. You can even suggest a tagline for our logo if you like. The logo will be used in every part of our company communication website, business card, letterhead, brochures, etc
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our online store is targeted at busy parents who held off having children until theyve established their careers. This means that they are likely to be older, have more disposable income and probably spend more on their kids than most parents.
They want the very best for their baby and they have the financial means to afford this.
Mothers will be our primary target but fathers come a very close second. They would probably be in their early 30s and are college graduates and/or professionals.
The current marketplace does not offer much to our busy moms. Other online baby stores in our region are not professionally managed (one even closes their door when they go on holiday!), they do not have detailed information about the products theyre selling and have minimal customer service.
This means theres a great opportunity for us, especially as more and more people are shopping onlinewhich is a wonderful way to shop if you have a baby and a pram and hordes of weekend shoppers to face!
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
As cliched as this will sound, when I think of my online store, I think of Apple. They exude style and yet is minimalistic. Everything about them is so well designed and everything has a function. Nothing is done for aesthetics sake.
Im looking for something that is memorable, classical and feels premium.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The company name to use is Robins Nest.
I am looking for something clean and simple. It has to be easily recognizable, scalable and work across different mediums (online and offline).
It will also need to look good in full colour (4 colour is ok) as well as monochrome. Please consider logo variations when designing (e.g. horizontal and vertical logo). The logo must be printed in a cost efficient manner i.e no special coating or effects.
I would like vector files supplied and it would be great if you can supply brand guidelines on how to use the logo, fonts, colours, etc.
There is no need to place a robin in his nest if you dont think it works :-)
