Mobius DS, LLC
What do you do?
Product Design and Development. I am a mechanical engineer who designs on products in a variety of fields ranging from high-tech, medical, consumer, and machine design. I also contract with different Product Design Firms
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Mobius Design Solutions or Mobius DS or maybe just even Mobius
You'll receive designs for biz cards, letterhead and envelopes.
Instead of letterhead and envelopes, I would be more interested in an Invoice and a PowerPoint template. I might need letterhead and envelopes in the future, but that can be negotiated later.
What is your industry?
I design products for a variety of industries... Consumer, High-Tech, Medical, and other design-oriented industries..
Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery
I am looking to appeal to different design firms and companies who need help with product design. I am going after the clients who recognize the value of aesthetic appeal and ergonomics as much as function in their products.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?
I am looking to communicate a blend between Industrial Design and Engineering. I want to show that I am capable of the engineering side of design (mechanisms, etc..) without losing the artistic feel of the product. I'd also like to communicate the creative side of design engineering.
Style and Concept
What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
I like simple designs. I like when the text is the image (like M3 Design, Astro Studios, Lunar Design, IDEO)
What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?
Rust color (not a necessity, I just kind of like the color)
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?
No requirements here
What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?
Simple, Strong, Bold, Creative
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Mainly on print, also on website and on engineering drawings I make.
Do you have additional info or links you want to share?
I chose the name "Mobius" based on the mobius strip. A mobius strip is a very artistic shape, but it is still defined by an equation. To me, it represents a blend between engineering and industrial design. I would like to see a mobius strip somewhere in the design.
