LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
This is for a new company in Austin, Texas. Austin's unofficial tag line is "Keep Austin Weird." Very lose and casual. I envision it to be a very welcoming party spa where groups of 2 to 12 can come together, have a glass of wine (complimentary), and get manicures and pedicures. Individuals are also welcome, and men are welcome. I was inspired by how many opportunities there are for coming together and experiencing community while traveling in Europe last year. We don't have as much of that in this country. The decor will feel like a friendly, elegant living room. Fonts should be friendly and informal, and colors bright but probably not primary colors.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
This logo will be on the sign on the roof of the space, as well as on business cards and stationery. The name of the party spa is Peace. Love. Nails. One space between each word. The company is a corporation. Possible tag line I might decide to use is "Alone or With Friends."
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Audience is primarily women, teenagers to elderly, and can be an individual or a group. Primary competitors are either very expensive high end spas geared to the individual, or very cheap hole-in-the wall bright lights, linoleum floors, fast in and out establishments. This business will provide a niche between the two current options. The impression I want to give is a friendly, elegant place of comfort where conversation and enjoyment are facilitated and excellent service provided.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Just scrolling through some examples on this site, I liked numbers 342 and 344 for "spinback", and number 881 for "fivespark". I like the friendliness, the mood, the simplicity, and the colors, although I tend to lean toward what I call "easter egg" colors.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Peace. Love. Nails. Again, one space between each word. Not too girlie, no emphasis on pink, no peace symbols unless integrated in a new, fresh, interesting, understated way.
