LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a fun new online bingo company called Butlers Bingo. We are focusing on the UK and Scandinavian markets.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo which represents the fun and community element of Butlers Bingo, which will be used extensively on the website and in digital marketing campaigns. The logo should appeal to women and should contain the image of a butler, however this butler can be anything from a Mr. Magoo-like character, to a Chippendale type character or even a Southern Gent Rhett Butler character.
The bingo players must be able to engage with the character; firstly to assist in creating a sense of community and secondly to make the virtual world of the internet more real to the players through their association with the character.
The logo should also include the name Butlers Bingo.com.
We would like to be able to use the character around a web page, potentially doing different activities, helping the player, etc.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Predominantly female, aged 25-45, married with between 1 and 3 kids. They own their own house, which is a small terraced house with about 3 bedrooms.
Their demographic group is C1C2D, i.e. lower middle class (supervisory or clerical, junior managerial, admin or professional), skilled working class (skilled manual) and working class (semi/unskilled manual).
Bingo is considered fun entertainment and not gambling by most of the participants, and for these participants the sense of belonging to the bingo community and being alongside their bingo roomies (friends) is very important.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
This is a completely open brief; without any design prejudices.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
There must be eye contact between the character and the audience. It is important to make the client feel part of the Butlers Bingo community.
The logo must not be too fussy or overly complicated and the character must not look like Ask Jeeves.
