LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a Gourmet kitchenwares company with our own line of Coffee and Tea wares (see www dot grosche dot ca or check our products like the Colombo coffee press item and packaging picture on amazon dot com). We have a small line of glass teapots, single serve tea infusers, coffee presses, and double walled glasses. Our current focus is on tea/coffee/drink ware, but want to stay open to expanding into other kitchen and housewares in the future. We are going for a high end 5th Avenue or Rodeo Drive look with the brand image - not overly artsy, but elegant, classy, bold, simple, clean, and unique.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are in need of a logo (currently using the brand name -"GROSCHE" in Lucidia font) for our image identity, stationery/bus card, to use on website, to be embossed/printed on our products, on item packaging, and perhaps on clothing and giveaways in the future as well. The logo should have the brand name ( GROSCHE ) incorporated in it. It could be as simple as the brand name written in a bold and classy/elegant way, or have unique graphics to go along with it.
It would be best if it is something that looks good both in color or in 1 color for printing on our items. We have used a deep red color on our packaging and website so far, and ideally it would look good against deep red background, but don't want to limit you to it.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Consumers buying products in kitchenware stores, online, in expos, tradeshows, etc. the logo will end up on the item's packaging on shelf so it should be catchy, and not confusing for the consumer. It should convey the product name clearly, and add that touch of bold elegance, simplicity, clean lines, and class that a consumer would feel "trust" towards. It should look high end, without being "pompous". Simple, clean, classy, bold, unique.
We are designing our products in Canada and Switzerland and would like the logo to match with European designs. Our products will be sold in North America, Europe, South America, Australia etc.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
dont want to restrict your creativity... The name itself written in a way that it becomes recognizable over time could be great, or any simple graphics could also be included in it.
It could also be a symbol that stands for the brand (Like a custom "G" ..?) that could accompany or even replace the brand name on packaging as a logo.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
The name of the Brand in the logo design.
(I will need a white/black/color version to print on various items with different backgrounds)
(Only need GROSCHE Name as a must, KuchenWare (as in current attached logo) is not essential)
