LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Who are we:
Life Science Outsourcing is a medical device contract manufacturer. What does that mean? Simply put, our company manufactures medical equipment used to save lives in hospitals. While many firms like ours have taken manufacturing overseas we still manufacture right here in the United States. However, this should not be illustrated in the design.
What we do:
In addition to simply providing manufacturing, our firm provides the know-how and industry experience to ensure success. Simply put we use our knowledge, expertise and facility to build the products our clients dream up. We help them achieve their dream of being acquired by a larger company. We offer a suite of services to help the client. These services include manufacturing as previously mentioned but also packaging, testing the package for integrity, sterilization and distribution. We have a robust menu of services and the logo should reflect that.
Life Science Outsourcing is dedicated to the success of our clients. We have a track record of bringing start-up medical device companies to the point where they are bought out by one the industry titans for a boatload of cash. This is a start-ups ultimate goal. Our industry specific knowledge, on-staff expertise and deep service offering makes that happen.
Medical Devices That Save Lives
Medical Advancements That Push Science Forward
Entrepreneurial Dreams For Those Who Dream Up These Advancements
We bring these traits to our clients:
A suite of empowering services
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Logo, with and without tagline incorporated
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We might be judging your designs but we are doing so with our end clients in mind. These clients are start-up, small and mid-sized businesses that have developed breakthrough medical devices but dont have the ability to build the product themselves. Typically our clients cannot make the products themselves due to lack of in-house expertise or the expense of purchasing expensive manufacturing equipment. So they turn to us to be their go-to supplier. Our clients are entrepreneurial and many come to us with a revolutionary idea but have no clue how to navigate the complicated manufacturing process or how to follow the correct procedures to get the device approved by the FDA. Our clients are entrepreneurial in spirit but a little more science geeky because of the field they are in.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
more in the logo brief attachment (word doc)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The logo must have the full name in it, Life Science Outsourcing. No abbreviations please.
Please provide your design with and without the tagline: Your Success, Our Objective
Our color pallet is not set in stone but we are looking to build our look around a deep blue similar to PMS 540 and lighter blue similar to PMS 278. Colors in the same range are acceptable. If you want to try something completely different please be sure to at least use the above color range in one of your designs first, then provide alternates.
Stationery, business card and envelop design as well as the logo.
The logo will appear on brochures, websites, direct mail, etc.
Stay away from any shade of red in the design. This is a big no no in medical design as red signifies pain and blood.
All of our manufacturing takes place in tightly controlled dust and contaminate free clean rooms. The design should itself be clean and scientific looking. A taste of high tech wouldnt hurt either.
Final artwork should be an illustrator EPS or AI file.
