Name background Information:
The company name (True Wind) comes from sailing. The logo design does not (and maybe should not? (up to you.)) have to reflect the sailing heritage but we thought it might be interesting for you to understand the origin of the name. True wind is the actual direction of the wind. When you are moving and the wind seems to shift direction; this is called the apparent wind.

1) TrueWind Marketing - Logo
We would like the emphasis to be on TrueWind with Marketing shown in a less predominant manner (unless you have a great idea that incorporates it all together).
We would like help in defining specific brand standards (color, font, minimum size, minimum spacing, CMYK/Pantone colors). We are open to the use of both commercial and free fonts. (As long as the commercial fonts do not cost too much and bring reasonable value to the design).
The use of color in the logo is fine but would also like grayscale and B&W versions.
2) Letterhead We are considering a two page system.
The first page would contain more information and then the second page would have less. (Unless a proposed single version would work for both purposes).
We would imagine that the first page of the letterhead would have the company name/logo, an address line, phone number and website address (TrueWindMarketing.com). On this page we would also need to have somewhere TrueWind Marketing LLC for legal purposes.
The second page would have fewer elements with a cleaner look and feel maybe just the logo/company name?.
3) Business Card.
The business card should contain company name/logo, name, title, address, phone, e-mail, and somewhere on the card should contain TrueWindMarketing LLC for legal purposes. We are open to looking at any business card design.

Open to any creative strong designs. That said we have great admiration for many of the minimalist designs as noted below. We like logos that take the name and keep an image that is a play on the words composing the name in a plain, simple, refined and memorable way.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Our only caution/limitation: We understand that incorporating wind into an image for a logo can be challenging. We would advise against the approach of using wind turbine or wind power images. We do not want to give the impression that we are in the wind energy business.
