LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Currently we have a successful eBay business / eCommerce website selling goods ranging from Apple parts & accessories through to Xbox 360 accessories. However we're wanting to create smaller more specialist outlets with a much narrower range of products.
At the moment we are in the process of setting up 3x subsidiaries;
wedoapple
wedogaming
wedoaccessories
As we widen our product range we may well be adding more of these barnds, all using the "wedo" prefix.
wedoapple:
For now, the 'wedoapple' brand will be selling, you guessed it; Apple products. Mainly current generation iPhone / iPod parts & spares, Apple repair services, reconditioned iPhones, with Mac products being added later.
wedoaccessories:
This brand may well have some overlap with the other 2x brands as it will be selling 'accessories' for the iPhone / iPod range, as well as PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii & Xbox 360.
wedogaming:
This brand will be launching last and will have everything we sell that is gaming related. This includes parts & accessories for the PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii & Xbox 360.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We're looking for logos that could be used for web, print, stationery & business cards. These could well be themed, but would definitely need to have some kind of brand identity with the 'wedo' carrying through all of the logos.
Colour wise we're open to persuasion, something a little 'Web2.0' would be good. Maybe a little bit of Apple look & feel without being too close.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We've built up a pretty good customer base already with our other identity through excellent customer service, competitive prices & quality parts / spares. Our target audience are those people who buy Apple products, gamers or the people who buy for them.
If people have invested money in their iPhone / iPod and have damaged it, or want to buy something for it, then they need to be able to trust us to supply them with goods to repair / replace or compliment their original purchase.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Obviously the Apple "brand identity" is a favourite design, also Microsoft's recent work with Windows 7, the Zune and the Xbox 360 all have a very nice clean look and feel. Particularly the new-look Windows 7 mobile phone interface.
Web2.0 brands such as Skype, Spotify, Twitter etc.
Although, that all said; we are open to new ideas.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Striking, with a theme throughout the brand.
We have no corporate identity that we wish to preserve with these new brands, no colours in mind. That's it really.
