LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
TBW Solutions is a provider of engineering and technical resources to leading energy, wireless and telecommunications companies throughout the United States. You can find out more about our company by going to www.tbwsolutions.net Our company designs, builds and supports America's infrastructure: the smart grid, wireless communications systems, wireline telecommunications.
We are a subsidiary of a larger company Truevance Management www.truevance.com, and our logo reflects that heritage. As part of our overall corporate strategy for 2010, we want to create a strong brand identify for TBW Solutions separate and apart from Truevance. Redesigning our logo is an important part of that process.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a logo to be used both on our website and in all marketing applications.
Expectation is that the design will be delivered in an appropriate Adobe format (Photoshop or Illustrator), plus jpg and any fonts used must be cleared for commercial use. We will need color separation information including RGB, Pantone, and CMYK.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our target audience is corporate America. We provide our services to some of American's largest corporations. As such, our logo has to be relatively conservative but innovative, clean, crisp, cutting edge, indicative of what we do and generate an emotional connection to our brand.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Think of some icons of America: Apple, Microsoft (product logos such as Internet Explorer and Windows) and international brands use as Ferrari.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Green needs to be the predominate color in our logo. We'd like the logo to somehow incorporate our core competency of energy, telecom and wireless infrastructure design and technical support. One of our thoughts is that we might incorporate a different element in each divisional logo much like GE does.
The design must be one that will work well as a stand alone icon and as icon and text such as Apple, Ferrari, etc.
