LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We've been in business for 25 years and think that's long enough for one logo. The original Truevance logo was designed by engineers for engineers and its linear no nonsense style has served us well but it's time for a change.

Truevance is one of America's largest providers of technical support services to telecommunications, CATV and cellular industries. Our clients read like a who's who of American business and include such companies as Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, Cox Communications, and Comcast. The "thing" that unites these companies is that each delivers their content over high speed broadband infrastructure (wired and wireless). In many respects, Truevance is a staffing company providing personnel who are skilled in designing, delivering and servicing the broadband digital networks that crisscross America.

We have recently gone through logo design and rebranding of two affiliated companies TBW Solutions and JourneyLine. You can view the logos of each at www.tbwsolutions.net and www.journeyline.biz.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We'd like a new logo, business card, and letterhead that we can use to set the tone for the design of all of our company marketing materials (and the winner will get an opportunity to design them for an extra fee). We would like a logo that is crisp, cutting edge, forward thinking and futuristic (without being comic bookish); one that provides a strong visual identity for our corporation.

A logo with a people and or digital theme might work well for us but please above all be creative.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is corporate America. We provide our services to some of the world's largest corporations - think Fortune 500. As such, our logo has to be relatively conservative but innovative, clean, crisp, cutting edge, indicative of what we do and generate an emotional connection to our brand.

WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:

We are open to just about any crisp, clean design that tells our story graphically. Think of some icons of America: AT&T, Apple, Microsoft (product logos such as Internet Explorer and Windows) and international brands such as Ferrari. Among lesser known brands Elster appeals to us.

Remember to check out the logos that were the winning entries for our two affiliated companies: JourneyLine and TBW Solutions.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:

The design must be one that will work well as a stand alone icon and as icon and text such as Apple, Ferrari, etc.

The predominant color (or one of the predeominant colors) in our logo should be green but also incorporate other secondary colors. Do not limit yourself to the shade of green currently in the Truevance logo (www.truevance.com). Remember be creative and be fresh.

Avoid the use of archaic fonts.

We need a logo that's connects with people. Remember if you are the selected winner your logo will be on thousands of hardhats, vehicles and poloshirts and will be seen daily by 10's of thousands of people.
