RSRCHRZ is the new startup and sister company of a successful and well- established market research company. Our core business revolves around using the social web to gather consumer thoughts, ideas, opinions and impressions around individual topics.
If you're thinking 1950s librarian (ew), stop there. That's really not us. Are we geeks? Well, yeah. But, if we say so ourselves, we're "geek cool" and have sophisticated tastes.
We need a logo, business card and electronic letterhead (in Word) for RSRCHRZ.
We are seeking a logo that communicates and reflects that we work in research, yet breaks from the stuffy image many associate with the field. We are enthusiastic about what we do, and we want our enthusiasm to show. Whereas our sister company has a somewhat buttoned up image, our intent is for RSRCHRZ to have more of an edge. Think fresh, conversational and open; very approachable and reflective of web 2.0 itself. But still professional.
Style-wise, think Web 2.0. The logo should be clean, simple and modern; funky yet sophisticated.
Aside from the business cards and electronic letterhead we are also requesting, we plan to use the logo for a soon-to-be launched website and with other business reports and documents.
Note: An attached document with the information for our business cards is attached.
Our target audience: Marketing managers of small, medium and large organizations and account directors and managers (purchasers of research ) at advertising agencies.
See the attached document titled "Sample Logos". Please note that these are simply to provide an idea of our taste.
The logo must include our name, RSRCHRZ
One version of our logo should also include our tag line: Creative.Social.Research.
We also need two versions of each logo; one that works on dark background and one that works on white.
No bleeds on the business card or the letterhead.
NOTE: The only piece that needs to be in Word is the electronic letterhead.
