LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Socialosity is a New York based start-up that offers a special blend of life coaching, social skills training and image consulting. Our focus is on empowering individuals to build rewarding connections both personally and professionally. The name "Socialosity" comes from "Social Curiosity" as curiosity, connection and community are cornerstones of our vision. We work to spark confidence and believe that everyone is amazing in their own right, we offer guidance and coaching so that individuals can meet their unique goals for a fulfilling life. Our services include: one-on-one coaching (phone or in-person), group gatherings (socials, discussions and skill building workshops), online dating profile help, first impression feedback and L.A.B.s (simulated social experiences such as mock dates, wing women outings, mock interviews, personal shopping, role playing). For more information see www.socialosity.com.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo that is simple with an inviting, modern and professional feel. We like logos that offer more to the viewer than meets the eye. Something symbolic of connection, curiosity or community would be great. We want something memorable that has high impact and will look great on t-shirts, stickers and business cards. It's important that "Socialosity" is easy to read - as you can imagine, the unique spelling means that it's easy for people to spell it incorrectly so we don't want to confuse them with too fancy of a font. We'd like to see a logo with font treatment on the name OR a logo that has a standalone icon treatment (To see which looks best). We would like to open up full creative license creators as you imagine an image when you hear our name "socialosity" and learn about our business. We are looking for something out of the box and intriguing.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Anyone, male or female, looking to build their social circle of friends, find a life partner, improve interpersonal skills at work, network better, interview better and improve communication with their significant other. We are currently targeting individuals that feel more comfortable behind a book or computer but want to be more confident interacting with others. This might be your stereotypical "geek" that feels socially inept or someone entering a transitional time in their life. At some point we will be marketing more directly to companies wanting to improve communication, teamwork and leadership for their employees. It is important the logo is professional and can be used in more executive settings. Interesting, memorable, professional, fun and modern are words we would like to describe our logo.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
This logo is great because it is multiple images that create a strong, interesting larger image. (we do not like the font)
We like the multiple looks of the logo... yin&yang, compass, 2 sharks interacting, we also like the font and how the 2 colors work together with the name.
This logo has many dimensions and and an intriguing monochromatic scheme
like the quirkiness of this logo... looks fun.
The Question-mark/Phoenix logo below is fascinating and memorable and takes some time to see the two separate images.
The horse/ying-yang is also intriguing because it plays with visual dimensions.
We are drawn to the detailed black circle logo below because it is visually appealing and open to interpretation.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Must be clean and simple yet visually interesting.
Must not be too feminine and appeal to men as well.
Prefer symbolic design that has more than meets the eye
Don't want to see generic corporate looking logo.
We like bold colors that pop with neutral secondary colors.
