LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Hospital Healing Environments is committed to creating pleasant, restful, meditative and sometimes inspiring environments for patients seeking care throughout health care systems. We bring nature into the waiting room, patient rooms, and common areas of hospitals and treatment facilities using original photography framed in high-definition screens. These screens allow the nature images to peacefully change, and are coupled with customized music, as well as still photography in certain areas. Studies have shown that bringing nature inside brings calmness, as well as beauty, into an otherwise threatening environment, allowing patients, their loved ones, and care givers to be more relaxed and therefore have a better overall experience.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo and image that can be used on a variety of literature, business cards, and the website. This audience is particularly sensitive to "leave behinds," as they are well used to gain attention and dollars. We want our "look" to be professional, clean, and modern. We will be using the color scheme and images to build out the website in addition to using it for everything from custom folders, letterhead, business cards, pens, etc. to potentially embroidered shirts and hats. Initial usage will be limited to print media and online media.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience is divided, with essentially an "end user" who is different than the "buyer," and we need to appeal to both. The product itself will be used in environments where the patient will be the primary benefactor...patient rooms, recovery rooms, etc. However, those who will be making the buying decisions, and who will primarily "know" of Hospital Healing Environments are administrators, board members, hospital donors, and doctors. This is the primary audience for the logo, design, and literature.
We want our design to portray nature, a sense of calmness and peacefulness, and someone portray the "patient experience." We would like the "buyers" to come away with a feeling that Hospital Healing Environments is something that they can install that improves their hospital, improves the patient experience, and ultimately improves their experience as well.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We don't have any designs we have found as of yet. Our initial thoughts run toward somehow portraying a patient in the environment, perhaps with a caregiver. Alternately, we could potentially have a part of the logo that is a cropped image of one of our original photographic images that we could "switch out" over time. Colors, fonts, and styles should invoke the feeling of nature, serenity, professionalism, clean, modern, masculine.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We don't want anything too "cartoon-ish."
