What do you do?

We're a company that's focused on running fitness bootcamps in the Dallas area for people who want to lose weight and get toned. We offer bootcamps 6 days a week, and offer comprehensive nutritional plans and nutritional education for our customers. We're planning on franchising bootcamps in the future and want to branch out into other forms of the fitness business like apparel and supplements.

What is the purpose of our communication?
To inspire people who are unhappy with their physical state to live a healthier lifestyle by joining the Victus community.

Whom are we talking to?
Jennika Williams. She went to DeSoto High School, then to UT for undergrad. She is currently a dental student at Baylor Medical Center in her 3rd year. She drives a Jetta. Both of her parents are over weight, and she was in good shape in high school when she played volleyball, but since then has lost her figure. Shes been thinking she wants to work out, but is worried that she just doesn't have the time. In her free time, she loves to go out dancing or just getting a drink at a local Happy Hour. She spends a about an hour a day on websites like Facebook, Black Planet and YouTube. She mainly just connects with friends and she is trying to get into Twitter.

The core characteristics of our target market are:
1) They are unhappy with their current physical state
2) They desire to lose weight or live a healthier lifestyle
3) They are predominantly women, ages 18 - 45

What do they currently think?
There is not a public opinion about Victus, however those that know the brand enjoy the benefits they receive from it.

What would we like them to think?
That Victus has changed their life both physically and emotionally and cant wait to tell everyone about their experience.

Victus provides the education, the exercise, and the accountability needed to lose weight and continue to live a healthy lifestyle.

The personality of Victus needs to be portrayed as energetic, sophisticated, and challenging. Everything must drive the consumer to the point of determination.

What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Text and a mark.

We want to see styles ranging from clean/corporate to the style of the movie 300. For the mark: something that communicated strength, i.e. shield.

What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?

warm colors with deep saturation. deep reds, violets, blues are all possible. Metallic silver and golds.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?

stay away from typical fitness colors: bright orange or bright reds.

What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?

The personality of Victus needs to be portrayed as energetic, sophisticated, and challenging. Everything must drive the consumer to the point of determination.

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

How will people interact with our communication?
People will primarily share Victus by personal stories about their dramatic shift to a healthier lifestyle. Secondarily, they will interact with the brand through social media, the company website, and directed print pieces.
