LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are an evolving start-up that sells college textbooks online. When our site launches in August, we want to be perceived as cutting-edge and revolutionary. We think that it takes a certain type of person (the innovator) to try new ideas & services, so we want to market to these people specifically. Generally, these people are more technologically-based and in tune with design or aesthetics.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
1) A logo - what we are currently using is attached to this project. I can provide a high-res scan of the logo only if needed. We like this fine, so feel free to use a variation or if you'd rather scratch it and start fresh, go ahead. It will need to be modified some, as it's unlikely to fit on a sticker design. Incorporate our slogan into or below the logo - Because bookstores should pay you. I think the slogan font in the attached image is 'Century Gothic' from Photoshop. The logo font is hand-drawn.
2) A sticker - we want to include stickers in each shipment that will encourage students to put them on their cars, refrigerators, computers, backpacks, books, etc. Remember when you were in college? Stickers were cool, as long as you loved the idea or service. We want to promote this. The sticker can be round, square or rectangular, just no bigger than about half the size of a bumper sticker, so keep that in mind when designing.
3) A business card - it should tie it all together. You can use these details for the entry, but after award, we'll need some text modified/duplicated for other employee cards. We had a card previously designed that listed all the details on the back and the front side only had the slogan. You can arrange any of this information to your liking. Let me know if I left out any essential details.

Also, I will be creating a full-scale uncoded website in my next project, so I will consider designers from this project first. I am aware the $300 for this project is low, but I am saving the bulk of my budget for the site.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
College students, typically age 18 to 24. Keep in mind what I said about the innovators. We want to market to them the best we can.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Can't find any, especially on textbook related sites. Chegg.com & textbooks.com are too basic. I like BetterWorld.com's but think it's pretty basic too. eCampus.com is terrible. Bookleberry.com does a nice job of design & branding. But, the point is that we aren't like any of these sites. We're new, we're exciting, we're cooler, we're nicer, we're better.... Keep that in mind.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Nothing I can think of. I'm encouraging design freedom here...
