LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a small technology consulting company that assists small to medium size businesses to maximize the value of their EXISITING technology. This means that we identify and fix the root causes of reliability issues, and enable them to fully utilize their existing hardware and software.
We maximize the performance of their systems, typically resulting in large gains in user productivity and significant improvements in customer service levels. It is not unusual for us to improve performance by a factor of 3-10X.
We identify the root causes of the issues (hardware size, configuration, etc., software - operating system or database or email parameters that are not sized correctly, or people/process related issues (don't have the time or the skills to tune systems, don't perform the proper maintenance, etc.)
The firm's leader is a former CIO (chief information officer) (NOT A TYPICAL "CONSULTANT"), with over 25 years of technology experience. He has been a senior executive, but is very hands-on. He is very creative, and has been recognized as one of the top 100 CIO's by Computerworld.
One issue we face in marketing is that most people (executives like CFO's and CEO's) have a very low expectation of how technology can help them - they always think of technology as unreliable, slow, complex, and expensive - in other words - it gets in the way of business, rather than ENABLING the business.
Our logo needs to asisst us in communicating our ability to "unlock" the unused capacity (and value) that most organizations have.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a vector based logo and business stationary that presents IT Performance Experts as a professional, yet different company - we are here to help an organization succeed with technology...
This effort will establish our color and font scheme and branding identity.
Ultilately, the colors and logo will be used to create a new web site and be used in presentations (Powerpoint) and proposals.
Colors we like are "money green" as a green light on a technology component means "good".
We also like classic colors (deep blues, etc.)
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Business Executives (CEO, CFO) is our major target - they want to see much improved ROI on their use of technology. I don't usually target IT leaders, because most of them don't want to be "exposed" by having me dramatically improve their environment.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We currently use a light grid (a performance display) with a line pointing up from left to right (to signify improvement in results. We are not "married" to the design...that is why we are here!
We do like classic colors (like deep blues and money green), but anything is an option!
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Easy to read
"polished", professional look
Versatile - can be used in print and web and projected displays
yet different from the pack...
Visually communicates what we do
