LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
lawgica.com is an ecommerce start-up that will bring efficiency and transparency to the market for legal services. Right now most people find lawyers through word of mouth, yellow pages, or some electronic listing/matching service. None of these methods allows clients to compare attorneys based on price and quality. Our website will correct these inefficiencies through the use of innovative technology thereby enabling people to find the right lawyer to handle their legal matter.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a complete corporate package including a logo, business cards, letterhead, and envelope. A follow up project will be design of our website.
Logo should include our name -- lawgica.com -- and may contain some graphic. It should also contain space for our motto: the logical way to find a lawyer. The motto can be next to, or below, the logo.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our main target audience includes consumers (private individuals) and small and mid-size businesses who are looking for a lawyer. Some people may be facing a legal problem that will require litigation; others may need a lawyer to help them with a business transaction. They will be able to find lawyers on our website to handle matters large and small, simple and complex.
The other target audience is lawyers who are looking for work. They may be new graduates or seasoned veterans. A large percentage of the lawyers we are seeking to attract are unemployed due to the recent industry-wide layoffs. We are also seeking to attract small firms and solo practitioners looking to expand their practices.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
If possible, the logo should imply technological advancement, transparency and ease of use. It should be clean, modern and forward-looking. After all, we are trying to bring the legal services industry into the new millennium.
law and gica may be (but do not have to be) in different colors and/or fonts. We leave this choice to the designer.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Our name must be easy to read. Our logo must be clean, modern and forward-looking.
We absolutely dont want any clich designs that are found on virtually every law related website i.e. lady justice, justice scales, gavels, neo-classical columns (the type you see on many courthouses), etc.
We also dont want anything thats over the top. While we want something that looks innovative, bear in mind that people will be looking for lawyers and the website needs to maintain a professional look.
We dont like any busy, clattered design. We want modern, clean look and feel.
