What do you do?
Landslide provides on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) solutions to businesses seeking to improve sales effectiveness and increase customer satisfaction.
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Landslide (but also a treatment showing LandslideCRM)
What pieces of stationery do you need designed (biz cards, letterhead, etc.)?
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery
Audience comprises several different groups:
- Sales professionals (sales reps, sales managers, vice presidents of sales, sales operations)
- Customer service professionals
- C-Suite management (CEO, COO, CIO)
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?
We are a next-generation player in a space with a dominant player (salesforce.com). Landslide takes the CRM offering to the next stage by focusing on three key differentiating factors: SIMPLICITY, RESULTS, and PERSONALIZE SERVICE.
Our brand should communicate these three core values. We want to simultaneously convey a sense of professionalism (we sell to business buyers), but also a sense of approachability. Irreverence is OK, as long as the materials are also professional for the business audience.
Style and Concept
What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
The logo should have both a graphical icon and text of the company name. The graphical icon should be able to be separated from the text for use in various presentation and collateral materials. It will also be printed on promotional items (hats, shirts, golf balls, etc.).
If the logo is made up of multiple parts, each component should be delivered for use as bullets or other presentation enhancements.
The PPT template has some important requirements. It must allow plenty of room for content. That means the general text slides cannot have an overwhelming amount of design elements, and backgrounds for the general slides should be solid color -- preferably white. However, these slides should still look polished. It's fine (even great) to emboss graphical elements in the corners or along the edges to add some texture.
The corporate logo should appear on every slide -- preferably in the lower right corner. There should be some sense of color or design along the top border. In general, however, the slide should not be boxed in or feel constrained.
There must also be title slides, end slides, and section title slides.
What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?
Please visit our current web site (www.landslide.com) to see our current colors. We currently use lime green, with orange accents. I like both these colors. However, I would be amenable to an "anchor" color. Both our current colors are more sizzle colors than basic anchors.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?
Pretty open-minded here. I would, however, avoid red.
What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?
Fresh. Aspirational. Irreverent. Professional. Successful. Approachable. Engaging.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Web site, print, online presentations, PowerPoint presentations, promotional items.
