LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

The Launch Partnership is a recent start up that hit the ground running and now needs your help to look professional as we hang out our shingle:-)

Our service is simply described: We take either a new product or one that has been under-performing and show our clients, using the internet, how to attract prospects for it, convert the prospects to clients and convert their existing clients into raving fans. As part of the process as well as writing copy, securing graphic design, HTML or other services etc, we'll do a marketing audit, uncover unused assets and put them to work as well. We then coach them step by step through the process of making their product or service fly. Our aim is delighted clients, each project, every time.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo, but not just a logo, more a visual representation of the excellence that we aim to deliver (there - that shouldn't be too hard eh?!) Also obviously we'd like it to be both memorable and flexible, in that we have no idea (beyond the obvious) where it might be used in future. For now we need a logo for, web favicon. website image and stationery. Scaleability is important as is the ability to run on light and dark backgrounds.

If we are able to use the logo element alone later on, all the better.

Corporate but with a nod to our web 2.0 roots.

Colours - leave it to you but our industry always responds well to blues. Would prefer max 2 colours.

Please avoid the cliches and clipart, your work will be a big part of what sets us apart.

To sum up the logo; Think Apple. The apple device is used in full form on the internet (catchlights and graduated tones, for shape and dimension etc) and then at it's most basic on some of the packing docs where it's just reproduced black on white. In both iterations it has real branding power.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience: We're a professional consulting/coaching company but also we're chameleons. We have to fit in everywhere from boardroom to Web 3.0 startup, however most of my (speaking for me now) presentations are conducted in a sport coat, button down collar and blue jeans but that's probably because I'm more silicon valley than wall street! Our target audience is both start-up and established. The most important thing(s) the logo has to portray to all our targets, irrespective of category are:

*Trust*. The net is an uncertain place for those with little experience, and old hands know there is more quicksand than rock out there. In everything we do, we have to portray a company worthy of their trust.

*Loyalty* to the client and brand - we'll be there for them tomorrow as well.

*Fresh ideas* delivered professionally.

*Dependability*. They can rely on us to deliver what we promise.

Our Target Audience falls into two camps;

i) Traditional companies who are struggling trying to understand how to make the web work for them.

ii) Net savvy folks who recognise our strategic and tactical skills and who want to have their sales catapulted by working with us.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

I liked the work done by escalator73 on the Media Stars logo. The hidden aspect of the (original) M really did it for me.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Our design absolutely must; Reflect the fact that we're first class at what we do.
