I am youthful, progressive real estate agent in Miami. I work under a large national brokerage, but enjoy the freedom to brand myself in a unique way. I am embarking on a new approach to servicing my clients, which will rely heavily on social media and social networks like twitter, FB, blogging etc. I also employ great technology for the operational aspects of my business as well. I am not new to this, I have been a top producer for the last few years but I tend to attract a younger cliental as they are my peers and there are also a lot of established realtors in my territory. In addition to branding that I need, I also use my website name, charmingmiamihomes.com as a brand. This brand I am now evolving to not only represent my website, but my whole digital network, and it is now called the Charming Miami Homes network. The Charming Miami Homes network is a social and news network for Miami real estate provided by Jill Penman, one of Miamis premier Realtors. HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I am looking for a modern, fresh look vs. the more traditional look I have used in the past to represent this change I am making. Not looking for techie, but clean crisp and modern. There are really 2 identities that coexist together. Jill Penman as a brand, and the Charming Miami Homes Network. I need logo for both (and a line really, but I know this is a design task). You can look at my past materials (included) to see how they have existed together. The last few pages in the PDF is my newer design and more what I am looking for. I need a logo or mark representative of my name (I use it like a signature), but the real logo should be for the network. I need B-cards, letterhead, envelopes, etc. I am open to unique bcard formats like oversize, rounded etc. alternative paper, etc. No clich palm trees, coconuts, sunsets and such for Florida! OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Home buyers and sellers 35-55. We are looking for financially sound sellers and buyers that understand the value of a skilled agent. I am not about working with people looking for Deals or Cheap, I am interested in working with someone savvy and finding great value for their money, and I need people that appreciate that difference. This crowd is increasingly more connected and utilizes their sphere of influence and digital tribes to find trusted services. They appreciate design and the finer things in life, but are not stuffy, exclusive or unapproachable.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
If I were a full on Broker, my firm would be considered a boutique. If I were a hotel chain, it would be the W or the Mondrian, but not the Ritz or the four seasons, if an electronics company, I might be Apple (of course) but not Bang and Olson, or Sony. If a car, a BMW or an Audi, but not a Mercedes Benz or a Jaguar. My previous look was more traditional and warm, I need more modern, but still inviting. I like the earth tone palette I have (included) with various sand / sky and sea blues and some maroon, it highlights where I live without the need for palm trees and sunsets, but I am open to move away from this palette if it feels right.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
It must include a way to treat my name graphically, a logo for the Charming Miami Homes Network, and space for a line for each. For example, some times I promote myself, I currently use a mark that has JP and my name next to it, with the line Distinctively Different, Instinctively Better (good at the time but too stuffy and arrogant for todays time) The dominant logo and line is for the network, but they are used together so have to work that way. For example one on side of my business card would be the CMH network logo and a line like Connect The Way You Want Too Please feel free to modify and on the other side would be the graphical treatment of my name in a similar style. I have included a zip file with business card example of the current card and also a list of information that each asset needs to include.I dont want drop shadows, reflection, web 2.O look, or anything like that. Clean, fresh and modern but a little understated. I dont need webpage design yet or photography treatment, just good clean identify design.
