LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

GroundSignal is the developer behind a new smartphone app that will change the way local deals get made. We will connect local and national retailers, brands, and suppliers with the growing smartphone mobile consumer who might turn their nose up at "coupons" but who definitely enjoy taking advantage of "deals." This logo is a B2B logo that needs to speak to retailers/merchants, not end users. The name "GroundSignal" should communicate "local" as in "on the ground", "signal" as in "there's a deal to be had and/or a cool new merchant to check out over here" or "we'll let you know where the local deals are". We want our brand/logo to engender trust, value, and connection. We are resourceful and helpful. We are more about function and connection than trendiness. Our logo should communicate we command attention (as in, when the GroundSignal goes off, you pay attention). Not web 2.0 twitter, but current.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for use across all company marketing and brand collateral - press, web, print, mobile, our coffee mugs, hoodies, and any of the schwag that we re-gift as holiday presents. We would like to see a logo treatment as a standalone icon, as well as a logo with font treatment on the name. Horizontal and vertical treatments. Web-safe colors. Assume we are using home printers for the stationery, not a printhouse.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our customers will range from the owner of local retailer/restaurant, to the marketing manager of a national brand.
